'Don't Speak My Mother's Name in Vain' to be performed, Feb. 27

Reanae McNeal's "Don't Speak My Mother's Name in Vain," a one-woman play about the intersection of sexual violence in the lives of African-American women, will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Forbes College Black Box Theater.
McNeal has been published in national journals such as "Sisters Across Cultures" and "Running Deer Press." Her other plays include "Brown vs. The Board of Education," "Slave Shout" and "Black Women in Transition."
The event is sponsored by the Sexual Harassment/Assault Advising, Resources and Education Office of University Health Services, Akwaaba, Princeton's Black Arts Company and the Bildner Fund's Dialogue@Princeton.
