BodyHype show embraces variety of dance forms, Jan. 12-14

The BodyHype Dance Company will present its fall semester show Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 12-14, in the Murray-Dodge Theater. The dance troupe will perform at 8 p.m. on Jan. 12, at 10 p.m. on Jan. 13 and at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Jan. 14.

Founded in 1991, BodyHype embraces all forms of dance, including ballet, hip-hop and modern. The fall show will showcase choreography from current students and BodyHype alumni set to a wide variety of music, including songs by Missy Elliot, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, P. Diddy and Green Day.

The show also will feature guest performances by other student groups, including Sympoh and the Footnotes.

Tickets are $10 for the general public, $6 for students and free for Passport to the Arts ticket holders. They are available online through University Ticketing and at the Frist Campus Center ticket office, (609) 258-1742.
