UPDATE - Many roads now open, portions of 206 remain closed

Princeton University's Department of Public Safety is advising members of the campus community that most of the roads that were closed the morning of Friday, June 10, because of downed trees and power lines after storms that moved through the area June 9 are now open.

Sections of Route 206 -- between Lovers Lane and Province Line Road and between Ewing Street and Herrontown Road -- are expected to remain closed until approximately 6 p.m. this evening.

The crossing gate at Faculty Road for the "Dinky" New Jersey Transit commuter rail line is now functioning properly, and trains are operating. Also, power has now been restored to the University-owned Millstone Apartments.

No further traffic updates are expected before the weekend.
