"Water and War," an exhibition by Native American artist Janune Quick-to-See Smith, will be on view April 13-Aug. 4, in the Bernstein Gallery, Robertson Hall. Smith's visual language combines historic and literary references, including American Indian mythology, and contemporary current events, to make socio-political statements on the environment, corporate greed, consumerism and the rising gap between rich and poor. A public reception will take place at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13.
