Junior Glenna Yu produced this piece, one in a series of videos created by students in the Princeton Atelier course "Dance on Camera/DIY." The course instructors are Susan Marshall, director of the Program in Dance, and Danielle Aubert, a Princeton Arts Fellow.

Imagine four dancers in a studio. Each has a different story that brought them into the dance community at Princeton University; each has a different major and different career aspirations. All have been rehearsing since September four to five hours weekly in preparation for the Lewis Center for the Arts' 2015 Spring Dance Festival. They are among over 50 Princeton undergraduates who will appear in the festival.

Students bring learning to stage in Spring Dance Festival .

Many students come to Princeton with a talent for dance already well established. Others begin to explore dance as a new passion as part of their undergraduate experience. For all of these students, the annual Spring Dance Festival offers an opportunity to bring months of dance study and rehearsal to the stage, performing works by celebrated choreographers as well as original pieces students had a role in creating.

Student work: 'Specks of Dust' documentary by former Bridge Year students to premiere .

"Specks of Dust," a documentary by Princeton University junior Azza Cohen and Class of 2014 graduate Shaina Watrous, will have its premiere screening at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, in McCormick Hall, Room 101, and at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the James M. Stewart '32 Theater at 185 Nassau St. The documentary follows the lives of individuals fighting for justice for the survivors of human trafficking in Varanasi, India.

Aubert and Treuting chosen as first Fellows in the Creative and Performing Arts .

Graphic designer Danielle Aubert and percussionist/composer Jason Treuting will come to Princeton University in the fall to begin two years of teaching and collaboration as the first Fellows in the Creative and Performing Arts.

Video feature: 'Flock Logic' collaboration unites science and dance .

Professors Naomi Leonard of mechanical and aerospace engineering and Susan Marshall, director of the Program in Dance in the Lewis Center for the Arts, created a class combining the science of motion and the art of movement. The Princeton Atelier project, called "Flock Logic," resulted in two performances that engaged a wide range of participants including students and volunteers.
