The purpose of this web project is to disassemble the Collected Papers of Charles Saunders Peirce [edited by Charles Hartshorne and Paul Weiss. Cambridge : Harvard University Press, 1931-1958] and to reassemble them in chronological order.

The CP seems to have fallen into disfavor (and disuse) among the Peirce cogniscenti as the hunt is on for world-shaking insight among the unpublished papers.

My own opinion is that the CP still holds some of CSP's most interesting work. I hope to make this work more accessible through a clear web interface and a search engine which will come on-line in the fall of 97.
