Pace Center’s Civic Awareness and Action Series: The Just Society.
What: “E Pluribus Unum: Civic Engagement in a Diverse and Changing Society”
Who: Professor Robert Putnam of Harvard University
Where: 7:30 pm Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall
  • In this talk, Prof. Putnam will outline trends in civic engagement in the United States, especially among young people.  Why are some young people growing more involved than ever while others become extremely disengaged?  How is youth engagement changing not only politically but also through other institutions and arrangements such as religious involvement and participation in neighborhood and community projects?
