GRADUATE STUDENT GOVERNMENT OFFICER ELECTIONS

 

The GSG is holding general elections for its seven officer positions: Chair, Parliamentary Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, Press Secretary, Treasurer, and Social Chair.

Vote online HERE between Monday Feb. 28th (9am) and Mar. 4th (11:59pm).

 

ELECTION TIMELINE

The following is a summary of the election process. For more details see the election plan as approved by Assembly.

  1. Election Committee formed: Wednesday, Dec. 8th
  2. Election Plan approved: Wednesday, Jan. 12th
  3. Election Committee calls for nominations: Dec. 11th, Jan. 15th, Feb. 4th, Feb 7th.
  4. Deadline for nominations: Monday, Feb. 7

    • Nominees will be contacted to confirm their interest and asked to submit campaign statements.
  6. Candidate statements due: Thursday, Feb. 10th (5pm)
  7. Announcement of candidates: Monday, Feb. 14th
  8. "Meet the Candidates" Forum: Monday, Feb. 21st (6-7pm, Frist 234)
  9. Election days: Monday, Feb. 28th (9am) - Friday, Mar. 4th(11:59pm)
  10. Election count and announcement: by Wednesday, Mar. 9th
