I was born in Randers,
Denmark, in 1960, but lived in Bjerregrav from 1963 to 1979. My
education
began at Bjerregrav Skole (grades one through seven) and continued at
Randers
Realskole and Randers Statsskole.
As an undergraduate, I studied mathematical
economics at the University of Aarhus. I started in 79, but I never
finished. I earned a Ph. D. in economics
from the University of Chicago in 1987. After seven years at Northwestern
University, I am now at Princeton
University, where I teach econometrics. My research area is
microeconometrics.
I am married to Andrea Swanson, and we have
two children,
Christian
and Emma.
We live in Princeton, New Jersey, and we have a dog named Patsy. My bookmarks include

order): Kongehuset, Hank
