Glass Blank
This is a piece of glass that we use to adjust the phase shift of the reference beam. By moving the translators on it, we subtly change the angle of the glass, and thus the amount of glass that the beam has to pass through, which in turn affects the phase shift.
Problems
- Like the mirrors and other optics, we had a problem with the translator screws being too large, which we fixed by filing their heads.
