Mounting Plate

We decided to build a custom mounting plate, to reduce vibrations. We used a plate of 1" aluminium, with custom drilled holes. We also made a stand out of a smaller piece of aluminum, so the plate could stand vertically (so that the slides would be horizontal).

Problems

When we needed to make modifications to the plate, we needed to remove all the components that we had added.
Because the optics holders weren't on posts, the plate hindered the movement of the screws.
