Welcome to my homepage! I am a Postdoctoral Researcher
in the Department of
Electrical Engineering at
Princeton University.
My research advisor is Professor
Mung Chiang.
I graduated with both the M.S.
degree and Ph.D. degree in the
Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering at the
University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I was a research assistant
of the Communication
Group and Decision and Control Group
in Coordinated Science Laboratory
when I studied in UIUC, and my research advisors there were Professor
Tamer Basar
and Professor R.
Srikant. My thesis research was on Congestion Control of
Communication Networks.
My current research in Princeton is on Peer-to-Peer networks;
Peer-assisted Live Streaming, including IPTV, Video Conferencing,
Video-on-Demand; Transport protocol design for real-time traffic.
My Ph.D. research in UIUC was on congestion control of communication networks, including
the design of new TCP variants and AQM schemes which outperform the existing
ones, and the model and analysis of the entire congestion control system and
various congestion control algorithms.
My research projects include:
