Once You Have a Job Assignment...
Step
1:
Complete USA-Interns Program
application form (download a PDF of the form here).
Step 2:
You will have to write a German-language cover letter to
your prospective employer, and provide them with a detailed resumé.
The SWP will assist you with both.
Step 3:
The SWP and the Steuben-Schurz-Society will assist you in applying for a
German work permit waiver. There will be an administrative fee of approximately
$90.00.
Step 4:
If you have a non-paying internship, the Steuben-Schurz-Society will notify
you of the amount of financial aid that they will provide to assist you.
Step 5:
If you have a non-paying internship but do not receive sufficient funding
from the Steuben-Schurz-Society, you may wish to apply to one of the
following sources:

Sophomores may also wish to apply for a Martin A. Dale Summer Award. More information is available through the residential colleges.
Upon your return
from Germany, you will be asked to complete a feedback form (download a
PDF of the form here), and to attend a short dinner meeting in Princeton.
