John J. O'Connor was born in Westfield, MA
and received a Master of Fine Arts and Master of Art History
from the Pratt Institute
in 2000. He has taught art and art history at New York University,
Adelphi University and the Pratt Institute.

In 2004, he was a resident
artist at the University of Central Florida where he made several
