Trains to Princeton Junction leave New York City’s Penn Station and Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station regularly. From Princeton Junction, a two-car train (known as the Dinky) makes the five-minute trip to Princeton University. The Dinky does not meet every train, so consult the NJ Transit schedule (Princeton Branch line) before making travel plans. You may download a campus map to help you get from the Dinky station to 701 Carnegie.
Newark International Airport is most convenient
to Princeton. Shuttle service between the airport and Princeton is available
through the Airporter. (Their courtesy phones are available at the airport
terminals limousine counters.) These vans arrive at and leave
from the Nassau Inn, located on Palmer Square, one block from Princeton
University. NJ Transit offers the Airtrain service, which departs directly from Newark Airport and travels to Princeton Junction. Visitors should transfer to the Dinky at Princeton Junction for travel to the University.
