The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment will support a vibrant and expanding program of research and teaching in the areas of sustainable energy development, energy conservation, and environmental protection and remediation. The Center will pursue these studies with an eye toward translating fundamental knowledge into practical solutions that will enable sustainable energy production and the protection of the environment and global climate from anthropogenic change.
The Center was established in July 2008 through an extraordinary $100 million gift from international business leader Gerhard R. Andlinger. This site provides up-to-date news and information on the planning for the Center and ongoing activities.
