Corporate Affiliates
Princeton Energy and Environment Corporate Affiliates Program
Building partnerships to accelerate innovation
Led by the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment — in partnership with the Princeton Environmental Institute, the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and the School of Architecture — the Corporate Affiliates Program enhances collaboration and promotes technology transfer between Princeton University and its corporate partners to address global energy needs and environmental concerns.
Companies are invited to participate in this partnership, and to benefit from a collaboration with Princeton by becoming a corporate affiliate. See below for a table of the three tiers of membership, which are designed to accommodate different corporate structures and business needs.
Goals of the Corporate Affiliates Program
- Discover, develop and transfer to industry practical and transformative solutions to generate new profitable product lines; create investment opportunities for venture capital; revitalize the energy sector; and protect the environment
- Analyze and propose sound, viable policies, and develop robust quantitative economic models to enable rapid and large-scale adoption of energy and environmental solutions
- Create a think tank to inform corporate leaders, investors and entrepreneurs about global energy and environment landscapes
- Provide preferential access to expertise in the science, engineering and socio-economic aspects of energy and the environment
- Transform education in energy and environment fields through close teacher-practitioner-student interactions
Membership Contributions and Benefits
The Princeton Energy and Environment Corporate Affiliates Program includes three tiers of membership: charter, general and affiliate members. For charter and general members, 70 percent of member fees will seed research and education initiatives. Those contributions are therefore tax-deductible.
