Leaders of the Center for African American Studies, Program in Teacher Preparation, and Student Volunteers Council have joined with the Trenton Public School District to build a custom literacy-tutoring program for the city’s struggling students.

"Introduction to Black Queer Studies: Queer Aesthetics in the Black Diaspora", taught by CAAS fellow Lyndon K. Gill in the spring semester, explores over two decades of work produced by and about black queer subjects throughout the circum-Atlantic world.
