Princeton University will held its annual celebration of the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Jan. 17, 2011 in Richardson Auditorium of Alexander Hall. CAAS Distinguished Visitor Van Jones will deliver the keynote address at 1pm.
Through the figure of Josephine Baker, "Second Skin: Josephine Baker & the Modern Surface" tells the story of an unexpected yet enduring intimacy between the invention of a modernist style and the theatricalization of black skin at the turn of the twentieth century.
