Function

PeopleSoft Financials manages the administrative systems under the control of the Treasurer that support the financial business functions of the University including procurement, payables, general ledger, salary expense distribution, budget preparation, and financial reporting. The systems include PeopleSoft Financials, Labor Accounting, the financial Data Mall stores and Web based Departmental Reports, Departmental Charges, and the Budget system.

Technical Architecture

PeopleSoft Financials is a Commercial Oracle application modified by Princeton.  The system is built as a 3-tier architecture using Oracle Database that integrates with many significant systems across the enterprise.
