Our Mission:
The primary missions of Princeton University are education and research. The academic manager provides the important link between the academic departments, programs, centers, and institutes that perform these functions and the administrative offices that support them. The Academic Managers' Group brings together managers from all academic departments, programs, centers, and institutes within the University to address issues affecting University administration. The Academic Managers' Group is working to meet the following goals:

  1. To enhance communication between academic departments, programs, and centers and central University offices.
  2. To serve the University community by representing the broad perspectives of academic units in administrative policymaking and in the daily operations of the University.
  3. To provide opportunities for ongoing professional development, education, and training.
  4. To provide an environment for mutual support and communication among academic managers.
