Research Field
My research interests including wind-wave-current interaction under extreme wind conditions (i.e. tropical cyclones); surface gravity wave prediction; tropical cyclone prediction using regional and global models; ocean responses to tropical cyclones. I’m also working on the coupling of surface gravity wave model (WaveWatch III) to global circulation models (GFDL HiRAM) for the purpose of improving global model tropical cyclone predictability.
