How to apply to the postdoctoral research and visiting scientist program
Applications are welcomed from new PhDs, independent researchers or more senior scientists seeking partial support for sabbaticals or short visits. Postdoctoral and Research Scientist support is typically for a two year period, with a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Applicants will also be considered for other available postdoctoral/research positions.
We seek applications in all areas of the climate sciences. This includes research in basic processes in atmospheric and oceanic dynamics; climate dynamics, variability and prediction; atmospheric physics and chemistry; cloud dynamics and convection; boundary layer processes; land-and-sea-ice dynamics, continental hydrology and land processes; physical oceanography; ocean-atmosphere interaction; climate diagnostics and analysis.
