Research in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Program
Research in AOS focuses on understanding the atmosphere, ocean and climate system. This encompasses the physics, chemistry, dynamics, and circulation of both the atmosphere and the ocean, as well as biological processes both on land and in the ocean. The principal sub-disciplines represented by research at AOS are described here as well as the faculty, researchers and students engaged in each.
