

Master Class with Kyle Abraham choreographer and dancer with companies including Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, David Dorfman Dance, and Kevin Wynn Collection
Kyle Abraham began his training at the Civic Light Opera Academy and the Creative and Performing Arts High School in Pittsburgh. He continued his dance studies in New York, receiving a BFA from SUNY Purchase and an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. As a performer, Abraham has worked with acclaimed modern dance companies including Burnt Sugar Dance Conduction Continuum, Mimi Garrard Dance Theater, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, The Kevin Wynn Collection, and Attack Theatre. Abraham works have been performed throughout the United States and abroad, including at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Danspace Project, Dance Theater Workshop, Harlem Stage, Fall for Dance Festival at New York’s City Center, Dublin’s Project Art Center, The Okinawa Prefectural Museum, and The Andy Warhol. Abraham received the 2010 Princess Grace Award for Choreography.
