Kyle deCamp

Visiting Lecturer in Dance, Class of 1932 Visiting Lectureship

Kyle deCamp has created a unique body of solo and ensemble multidisciplinary works, in an ongoing investigation of the intersections of art, history, and individual lives from multiple perspectives. The work has been produced by EMPAC, The Kitchen, Creative Time, PS122, Dance Theater Workshop, Danspace Project, Artists Space, ICA London, Szene Festival Saltzburg, Time Festival Ghent.

Awards include Commissions from the New York State Council on the Arts, Jerome Foundation, Greenwall Foundation, a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship, a "Bessie" Award, and artist residencies at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Harvestworks, HERE and Yaddo. Her multimedia solo performance “Urban Renewal” is in development for production in 2012.
