Plan a Visit
Should you plan to visit the campus, we welcome you to observe a curricular Modern/Contemporary dance class that appeals to you, or fits into your schedule. In the Fall, you may also observe the repertory classes or guest choreographer rehearsals -- click here for a schedule of classes you can visit. There is no formal dress code for the classes. You may also want to watch a little of the extra curricular ballet classes. Prospective students are welcomed to watch a class, however, we need to check with the instructor first. The classes are held either at 185 Nassau Street (Patricia and Ward Hagan ’48 Dance Studio), New South (1st floor dance studio) and the Berlind Theatre (Berlind Theatre Rehearsal Room), all on campus. Please note, your visit is not about auditioning for us. The purpose of the visit is to gain a better understanding of the Program in Dance. Meeting with faculty or observing a class does not take the place of any admission requirement or arts supplemental application. Click here for directions to the campus.
