Genius UpClose: George Balanchine

Experience the brilliance of George Balanchine’s masterpieces, as excerpts are performed rehearsal-style by leading dancers from the New York City Ballet.  Join Princeton Visiting Lecturer Heather Watts with Damian Woetzel, former New York City Ballet stars, as they illuminate and discuss excerpts from Apollo*, Agon*, Prodigal Son*, and Jewels* among other ballets. This event is offered in conjunction with the course DAN420 - Repertory and Choreography: George Balanchine, co-taught by Rebecca Lazier and Heather Watts.
