Dan Rothenberg

Guest Artist

Dan Rothenberg is a founding member and co-artistic director of the Pig Iron Theatre Company. He has directed many of the company's original creations to date, including Poet in New York, Flop, Anodyne, Gentlemen Volunteers, and The Lucia Joyce Cabaret, which was developed in part during a 2003 Princeton Atelier. Dan co-directed Shut Eye with Joseph Chaikin. Mr. Rothenberg leads workshops for professional actors and dancers with a focus on ensemble playmaking and the techniques of Jacques Lecoq. Along with Pig Iron co-artistic directors Quinn Bauriedel and Dito van Reigersberg, he was awarded a Pew Fellowship in the Arts for Performance Art in 2002.
