Albert Samuels is an award-winning actor, writer and director based in Los Angeles. He is a co-founder of musical ensemble Baby Wants Candy, which has created over 2000 improvised musicals, and has branches in Chicago, NY, LA and soon the UK. Al performed in Second City's National Touring company, bringing comedy all over the world, and was tapped for Second City's prestigious Mainstage cast, where he co-created two acclaimed revues. He was the creator, head writer and co-lead on the NBC comedy Sports Action Team which aired for two seasons, as well as the comedy The Venue which ran won the Comedy Central Pilot competition and is currently in development. Al is also head writer and director for 50 ShadesI, a musical parody of the Fitfy Shades of Grey parody which debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, ran off-Broadway and is currently touring the States, and is being translated into French, Dutch and German. Al is incredibly excited to work with the students of Princeton!
