

Joseph Litvak is Professor of English at Tufts University. He is the author of three books, most recently The Un-Americans: Jews, the Blacklist, and Stoolpigeon Culture (Duke University Press, 2009).
He is currently working on a sequel entitled Cold War Jew: Hollywood "After" the Blacklist. He is also translating Ahmed philosophe, or Ahmed the Philosopher, a comic play by the French philosopher Alain Badiou. In addition to his writing in the field of Jewish cultural studies, he has published numerous essays on Victorian fiction and on literary theory.
