Amulets - A Senior Art Show by Ruthie Nachmany

The Program in Visual Arts at Princeton University will present an exhibition by Ruthie Nachmany, a senior in the Visual Arts Program, on view April 16 - 26. An opening reception with the artist will be held Wednesday, April 18 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. The Lucas Gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Nachmany is a senior in the Department of Anthropology and pursuing certificates in Environmental Studies and in Visual Arts with a focus on Film/Video Production. She has previously utilized the medium of film/video to explore her work in anthropology in past projects.  In the summer of 2011, she received the Lewis Center’s Alex Adams ’07 Award to produce a documentary film about the dance community in Fairbanks, Alaska.
