The Program in Visual Arts at Princeton University will present a screening of videos by 8 students on Tuesday, February 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the James M. Stewart ’32 Theater at the Lewis Center for the Arts, 185 Nassau Street. The screening is free and open to the public.
The work to be screened was created by students from a fall 2011 “Introduction to Video and Film Production” undergraduate course taught by Keith Sanborn, which introduced students to the techniques of shooting and editing digital video. Students studied works of film and video to explore the development of, and innovations in, cinematic language and produced video work in narrative, documentary and experimental genres. Students whose work will be screened include: Rivka Cohen, Agisae Kim, Christina Maida, Benjamin Neumann, Dimitris Papaconstantinou, Jeffrey Stapleton, Ambika Vora, and Jessica Welsh.
