

Ms. Clements received a B.A. from Brown University in 1986 and an M.F.A. in Painting from SUNY Albany in 1989. She has been an adjunct instructor in drawing and painting since 1990 at institutions including The University at Albany (SUNY), Middlebury College and Skidmore College. She is represented by Pierogi Gallery in Brooklyn, and also has shown at Feigen Contemporary in Manhattan, Bernard Toale Gallery in Boston and Acme Gallery in Los Angeles.
In 2006 she had a solo exhibition at the Herter Gallery, University of MA at Amherst and will have a solo exhibition, “Art Now”, Middlebury College Museum of Art, Middlebury, VT in September. Her work will also be included in “Twice Drawn”, at the Tang Museum, Saratoga Springs, New York, curated by Ian Berry and Jack Shear and in the exhibition "STORYlines" at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Staten Island in November. Clements has received honors including New York Foundation for the Arts (Fellow in Printmaking/Drawing/Artist’s Books, 2005); Farpath (Residency, Dijon, France); and the Arts International and Arts Matters, Inc. grants from the Rockefeller Foundation. Her work is in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art (NY), the Western Bridge Collection and other public and private collections. Clements lives and works in Brooklyn, N.Y.
