Each year, the Lewis Center for the Arts gives its students the opportunity to spend the summer pursuing a project in the creative and performing arts. Students submit applications for course, travel and research related costs related to their studies. Award winners and amounts are determined by a committee of Lewis Center faculty members.

Summer Research Funding Awards are made possible by:
 

• Alex Adam ‘07 Award (open to all Princeton University Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors only)
   
• The Mary Quaintance ‘84 Fund for the Creative Arts Award (Open only to Lewis Center Creative Writing or Visual Arts Students)
• Peter B. Lewis Summer Fund (Open only to Lewis Center for the Arts Students)
   
• Mellor Fund for Undergraduate Research (Open only to Lewis Center for the Arts Students)
