"Princeton Graduate Students and Postdocs Move to New Faculty Positions"

Princeton alumni have done remarkably well in last year's highly competitive job market with many moving to new faculty positions and to long-term research jobs.


Several Princeton PhD students are moving to new faculty jobs:

Shirley Ho (Carnegie Mellon University); Dan Fabrycky (Univ. of Chicago); and Charlie Conroy (UC Santa Cruz).  Mario Juric will be leading the LSST software effort.  Eiichiro Komatsu will be moving from University of Texas to become a Max Planck Director in Garching.


Current and former Princeton postdoctoral fellows and research staff members are also thriving and moving onto new Assistant Professorships: Carlos Badenes (U Pitt.); Jenny Greene (Princeton); Chiaki Hikage (Nagoya); Mariska Kriek (Berkeley); Rachel Mandelbaum (CMU); John Wise (Georgia Tech); Caroline Zunckel (Univ. KwaZulu Natal) and long-term positions (Michael McElwain (GSFC).    Alex Refregier will be moving to a Professorship at ETH (Zurich).
