David Hopkins has been with the University for 17 years. He was formerly the manager of the New Media Center. David has been working in video production for over 20 years. He lives and breathes technology. He is always looking at cutting edge technology and how it can benefit the University. David graduated from North Central University.


Sr. Video Producer/Editor

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Lance Herrington joined Princeton in 2001 as a consultant for digital media at the New Media Center.  Since then he has shot and edited over a hundred video projects for Princeton departments, and helped countless members of the Princeton community complete their multimedia projects.

Jim Grassi photo
Video Producer/Editor

Jim Grassi joined the BC staff after three years with the University’s Media Services Department.  Jim is a knowledgeable professional experienced in directing, producing, scriptwriting, camera operation, editing and web streaming.

Prior to arrival at Princeton, Jim served as a Television Production Facilitator for a Department of Defense contractor.

Jim graduated from Rutgers University and attended New York University where he obtained a certificate in Film/Video production.

Lisa Jackson Photo

With more than ten years of experience as an award-winning video producer and editor, Lisa Jackson combines creative production techniques with a solid understanding of today’s digital tools to develop engaging and informative video and film projects for a wide variety of industries.

Her experience includes producing documentaries for the educational market, developing video components for comprehensive corporate training programs, and working behind the camera in the sports and entertainment industry. Lisa is a graduate of Rider University.

Dan Kearns photo
Broadcast Engineer

Dan Kearns comes to Princeton University with 18 years experience as a producer, director, editor and award-winning educator with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Neumann College. He has produced and engineered multiple broadcasts with television and radio outlets in the Philadelphia and national markets, and enjoys designing new media for web and live streaming productions.

Barbara Hilton photo
Administrative Assistant

Barbara Hilton has spent much of her career in the nonprofit world. Before coming to Princeton University she spent 12 years at Special Olympics in various roles. Her career has come full circle, bringing all those years of experience to the new Broadcast Center.
