Ph.D. Program

Ph.D. students advised by BCF faculty are provided with an individual carrel space in the Center and a computer with pre-loaded software packages. They often serve as teaching or research assistants.

The BCF does not directly admit Ph.D. students. Typically, Ph.D. students in the BCF are admitted by the Department of Economics, the Department of ORFE, or the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics. As with the faculty, the interdisciplinary nature of our Ph.D. program is a key aspect of the BCF.
