Undergraduate Certificate

Core Courses

Students must complete the two core courses of the certificate, both requiring a letter grade (pass/fail not allowed):

  • The two core courses are ECO 362 (Financial Investments) and ECO 363 (Corporate Finance).
  • The two core courses are typically completed during the junior year, ECO 362 in the Fall and ECO 363 in the Spring.

Students who are interested in a general finance course with minimal requirements should consider taking ECO 261. This course will allow all students access to a less advanced, one-semester, version of the material covered in ECO 362 and 363. However, this course cannot be used to fulfill the requirements of the certificate.
