Department of Politics Speakers
Department of Politics faculty members or students who would like to invite senior policy makers, civic leaders or scholars to speak about an issue related to current Bobst program themes are encouraged to apply for center funding. The current themes focus on:
1) Institution building in post-conflict settings and fragile states
2) Deliberation, identity and polarization
The executive committee will give special preference to speakers from regional, religious or ethnic backgrounds not currently well represented in our activities. In addition to funding, the center can provide direct assistance with travel arrangements and publicity, but other arrangements will remain the responsibility of the person who issues the invitation.
