Brazil Volunteer 2013-14
Welcome! My name is Alexander Robinson and I was born in the bustling city of Atlanta, Georgia one fateful night in 1995. Sometimes I like to think the world stopped turning that evening (if for only a moment?) but -- as I have been reminded many a late morning -- time stops for no one. Things just keep on moving, moving, moving. Moving -- I’ve been doing it my whole life. When I was seven I moved to coastal Georgia; when I was twelve I moved to South Africa; when I was 16 I moved to Kenya. My life has been defined by life’s only constant: change. That’s why I am so excited to be a part of Princeton’s Bridge Year Program. A die-hard traveler, avid techie, devoted runner and life-long student who loves authenticity; developed, well-articulated opinions; and food, I cannot wait to begin my study of a new language, culture, people and country with six other equally passionate individuals.
