Lesa Redmond - Bridge Year China

Dream Big-- that's my motto! I come from small-town Lawrenceville, Georgia. This June I graduated from Miss Porter's School, an all girls' boarding school in Connecticut, so I guess I'm used to being away from home. However, I would have never guessed my dreams would take me to China for nine months! In school I learned Mandarin, and subsequently fell in love with all things Chinese. I also participated in Model United Nations, where I learned to appreciate all countries and cultures. Aside from a week-long trip to the Netherlands, this will be my first extended stay out of the country. I enjoy running, reading, and hanging out with friends. I am thrilled to be embarking on the opportunity of a lifetime, and I look forward to returning to Princeton to study International Relations.
