Tyler Fair - Bridge Year India
My name is Tyler and I'm from Portola Valley, California. I recently graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School where I ran cross country and track, played in the school jazz band and combo, and volunteered with the Outreach club. I particularly enjoyed my history and biology classes. I played guitar in the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars my senior year, which took me to play at the Monterey Jazz Festival and the Berklee School of Music among other locales. I have been playing the guitar since I was eight. I love spending time outdoors whenever I can. Music is a major part of my life, and I consider my tastes wide-ranging: Walter Smith III, Kanye West, and Coldplay are among my favorite artists. Outside of the United States I have been to France, New Zealand, Guatemala, and Peru. But surely India will be something entirely new! I love traveling, meeting people, and learning. Next year at Princeton I'd like to study American history, molecular biology, and jazz composition.
