Course Drop & PDF Deadline Reminders for Seniors
Dear Butler Seniors,
A final reminder -- the deadline to drop a course, or to select (or rescind) the P/D/F grading option, is this Friday, April 12th. Please note that in order to drop any course, seniors must have my signature, and the drop must be done on a Course Enrollment Worksheet, and submitted to the Registrar by 5p.m. If the course involved is a departmental, you must also obtain your department’s signature. Please remember that all AB seniors must complete a minimum of six courses over the two semesters of senior year. BSE Seniors must complete a minimum of eight courses, inclusive of the BSE thesis courses.
Full details of the procedure to follow for the P/D/F option may be found in the email below, sent to you earlier by the Registrar.
Congratulations to those who have completed the thesis, and good luck to those who are finishing over the next few weeks. Hang in there, the finish line is in sight!

P/D/F ELECTION PERIOD
The period to elect the Pass/D/Fail (P/D/F) grading option begins on March 25 and ends on April 12, 2013.
To elect the P/D/F option for a designated course, please log on to SCORE (http://www.princeton.edu/score) and follow these steps
1. Click on Student Center
2. Click on Elect P/D/F Option located in the lower left of the Academics section of the page. Your semester courses will be displayed. The ‘Student P/D/F’ selection may be made only for undergraduate courses which permit this option.
3. After reviewing and/or selecting a course to be completed on the P/D/F basis, click the Submit/Confirm button in the lower left-hand corner of the Elect P/D/F Option page.
4. ** You must click the Submit/Confirm button whether or not you elect the P/D/F option.**
You may select only one course per term on a P/D/F basis, excluding courses that are already designated ‘P/D/F Only’. However, you may change an undergraduate course that you wish to complete on a P/D/F basis as many times as you wish during the P/D/F election period.
Your P/D/F election becomes final at 11:59 p.m. on April 12, 2013 and cannot be rescinded. Please make your election thoughtfully and consult with your academic or departmental adviser beforehand. Freshmen and sophomores may also consult with their director of studies. Juniors and seniors who wish to P/D/F a course in their department should consult with their departmental representative/adviser regarding possible the impact on their departmental progress.
Election of Graduate Courses for P/D/F: Your residential college dean or director of studies must grant permission for graduate courses to be taken P/D/F. A course enrollment worksheet, signed by your dean or director of studies, must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office.
