Michael Lamb

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Politics, working at the intersection of politics, ethics, and religion. I grew up on a small farm in Tennessee and graduated with a degree in political science from Rhodes College in Memphis. After college, I studied philosophy and theology at Oxford University before starting a Ph.D. at Princeton. In addition to academic work, I have co-founded a small non-profit called Alliance Africa (www.allianceafrica.org), advised colleges on service-learning and experiential education, and served as Chief of Staff for a campaign for U.S. Congress. As an RGS at Butler, I advise students applying for post-graduate fellowships, organize events around political issues and elections, and help lead the Butler Running Club.
