I grew up in Storrs, Connecticut, home of the UConn Huskies. After graduating from E. O. Smith High School in 2005, I attended the University of Virginia, where I majored in chemistry and worked as an RA for two years. Some highlights from college include studying abroad in Paris during Fall 2006 and doing undergrad research in the lab of John T. Yates, Jr. I came to Princeton in Fall 2009 and am working towards a Ph. D. in physical chemistry and performing research under Steven Bernasek of the chemistry department. Outside the lab, you can catch me playing soccer whenever the weather allows. I also play the trumpet and hope to resume sculling on Carnegie Lake in the near future.
