Neighborhoods

In this section of the website, you can view what's being planned in more detail for each neighorhood of the campus.

Neighborhoods of the campus are defined geographic areas that have been delineated based on common academic and experiential characteristics.

Although these areas of the campus are different from what is traditionally considered a neighborhood, grouping related uses is a useful tool for campus planning. In this way, by identifying the distinct qualities and activities that occur in particular areas, the University can foster relationships between departments, improve circulation, and provide the necessary support and infrastructure.
