Housing Master Plan

In 2005, Princeton University began to formulate a comprehensive Housing Master Plan to enhance its housing programs for faculty, staff and graduate students. The plan was developed using guiding principles and following procedures that included a comprehensive set of strategies, analyzing the present and future needs of graduate students, faculty and staff.

Given the recent state of the economy, the Housing Master Plan, like other components of the Campus Plan, has undergone a review of its scope and timeline. The intention remains to deliver a program that is consistent with the Housing Master Plan's guiding principles.

In spring 2011, the University announced it was moving ahead with plans to redevelop graduate student, faculty and staff housing.

Updates on the status of the Housing Master Plan components, including project scope, will continue to be provided on the facilities website.
