Intramural Sports Employment
Princeton University Intramural Sports department employs students to plan and supervise the Intramural Sports program activities. The Intramural staff is a major contributor to the program's success due to their dedication and commitment to Campus Recreation. Working for Intramural Sports offers great opportunities for professional development, social interaction and having fun at work. Applications for employment for the Fall of 2012 are due Friday, May 4, 2012. This is the last day of classes for the spring semester. Please submit applications to Jessica Ward. All student staff members are required to be CPR certified in order to work. CPR classes are offered at the beginning of each semester upon employment.
Intramural Supervisor
(5-10 hours/week) $11.20/hour
DUTIES
-Supervision of Intramural games and the conduct of the players.
-Assist with questions and concerns from participants, explain and clarify program policies and procedures, and have a thorough knowledge of all Intramural Sport Rules.
-Set-up and take-down of game equipment, ensuring equipment is maintained.
-Report risk management issues, assist with on-site injuries, complete injury report forms, and conduct equipment inspections and inventory.
-Communicate with Jessica Ward and IM Student Coordinators regarding any situations.
-Optional office help-hours (more information upon employment).
QUALIFICATIONS
-Preferred previous experience in activity management.
- Enthusiasm and leadership ability.
-Interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Ability to work evenings and weekends; and attend all mandatory staff meetings.
Intramural Student Coordinator
(10-15 hours/week) $11.20/hour
DUTIES
-Creating weekly work schedules based on availability, ensuring that every game is supervised.
-Be a liaison between Jessica Ward and Supervisors
-Assist with hiring and training of all student supervisors.
- Supervise and evaluate student supervisors on a regular basis.

-Must have at least one year experience as an Intramural Student Supervisor prior to applying.
