Figure Skating

Princeton University Figure Skating Club gives students the perfect opportunity to combine a top-notch education and their desire to keep skating in college. The club consists of every level skater from beginner through senior and provides around 25 hours of ice time each week available at the on-campus rink. There are several professional coaches in the area who can come in and work individually with skaters in freestyle, moves, and dance. Club members also have the opportunity to compete in intercollegiate competitions all over the East coast. These competitions provide the opportunity to represent for Princeton in a low-key environment. Each year, we host an intercollegiate competition. In addition, we have a collegiate synchronized skating team, which is a lot of fun and something most club members do. We skated with 16 skaters last year and made our second trip to Nationals. We also have one or two exhibitions a year and a large spring show. The club is entirely student run and each year grows in size and enthusiasm!
